Dear Miss Lee Ya Ching:

I received a letter from Madame Wellington Koo, in which she states that she had asked you to appear as guest speaker for a party we give each year to the Sons of the American Legion, Legion Sponsored Boy Scout Troops and other boys of like age at the Bronx Union Y.M.C.A., 161st Street and Washington Avenue, Bronx, New York.

This year the party will be held on Friday, April 14th, 1939, at 8:00 P.M. This party is being given to the boys free of charge, as part of our Americanization Program, and will be devoted entirely to Aviation.

I have attempted to get you on the telephone several times, but unfortunately you were out. I trust that this letter will confirm the date of the party, and that you will honor us with your presence. I will telephone you at a later date and give you further details as to time, etc.

Very sincerely yours,
Harry E Westerman
