Miss Lee Ya Ching
25 West 83rd Street,
New York, N. Y.

Dear Miss Lee:-

A group of ladies, some of whom heard you at the time you visited our Clubhouse, are very anxious to have you speak to them at their open meeting, on Wednesday, December 15th, 943, 3 P.M.

The Organization known as the South Shore Section of the National Council of Jewish Women, if very much interested in China, and have been contributing quite regularly to the United China Relief.

The President of the Organization has authorized me to offer you $25.00 to cover your expense for the trip, and also advised me that it will not be necessary for you to speak longer than one hour.

If you could possibly arrange to take on this speaking engagement, I think you will be doing a good turn for China.

Your early reply will enhance the chances of the proper publicity and a greater attendance.

With kindest regards, I am

Sincerely yours,
