Dear Miss Lee:

I want to thank you a thousand times for coming to us on Tuesday of this week. Unfortunately the Free French reception going on down in City Hall where I work prevented me from getting out of the building to come up here and hear you talk. I understand, however, that it was every bit fascinating as the talk which you gave for us last spring.

I do hope that you will come back to us again some time soon so that I may really hear you myself as my altruism does not reach the heights of being willing to miss a good talk!

With deep appreciation for helping us to make a success of our noon-day programs here at the Information Center, believe me to be

Sincerely yours
