Dear Miss Lee:

I want you to know how much we appreciated your talk at our A.T.A.E Dinner. It was splendid.

I hope you have fully recovered. We were all a little worried when we learned that you were ill and hope you did not overdo it.

It was a pleasure to meet you and talk with you and to hear more about your countrymen and women, our gallant Chinese allies. Let's hope that from month to month things will improve and that every one of these appearances you make will help your countrymen.

Very sincerely,
