VICE-CONSULATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA
714 RICHMOND ROAD
HOUSTON, TEXAS

April 15, 1939.

Dear Miss Lee:

Your telegram of last night from San Antonio has been received. Today, I received a letter from the San Antonio "China War Relief Association" informing me of the preparations they have made. I hope that everything has come out allright. As to El Paso and the other cities en route, I think that everything will be allright too.

I have sent Consul Chang in Los Angeles a letter enclosing three clippings. (copy of letter enclosed) Mr. Chen has replied to the Oklahoma City Chinese organization and extended your thanks to them. (copy enclosed)

The photograph and publicity matters which San Diego requested has been sent to them by airmail and special delivery yesterday. I am sure that they have been received in time.

As to Bishop Paul Yu-Pin, I will write him when I have cleared up everything. A complete set of newspaper clippings will be sent him. 4 clippings with pictures has already been sent him.

A little later, when I have more time, I shall send you a complete set of clippings and the other materials which you desired.

We are pretty busy now, as I will have 4 or 5 speaking engagements next week, besides several social events, and work at the office has piled up.

Wishing you success and happiness, I am,

Yours very sincerely,

Tsin-Lon Ouang
