May 11th., 1937.

Dear Rod:

I don't want to send you a photograph of the very fine Redon as all the beauty of the picture is in its color - but if you have a definite appointment with your client, I could send the picture to Philadelphia for a day or two so that you could show it.

The one in the large white frame is sold but the one which is a little higher and a little narrower is still available. The selling price is $10,000., but the net price to you would be $8,000. This picture (34" x 21-1/2") is of the same quality as the other you refer to, and they were both painted by Redon in the last year of his life.

The artist you inquire about in your letter is Maria de Kammerer, of 22 East 60th. Street. All you have to do is call her up (Plaza 3-3248) and say that I suggested her to you - if I have already sailed. I expect to leave for Europe a week from tomorrow, May 19th., but Germain will be here until the end of the month.

Kindly believe me,

Cordially yours,

(René Seligmann)
