Dear Mr. Seligmann:

As I mentioned to you sometime ago, I am going to have an exhibition at the Wilmington Museum of Art comprising the modern French painters such as, Cezanne, Renoir, Picasso, et cetra [[cetera]], to open on Monday, January 10th, 1938.

I will be in New York on Monday, January 3rd, to go over this with you, hoping that I may be able to obtain some pictures for this exhibition from you.

The exhibition will last two weeks and will be publicized and patronized by the richer people of this community.

In the meantime will you look over your various paintings and I will see you on Monday with a view of discussing the exhibit in detail.

Thanking you for your many past courtesies and with best regards, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Rodman W. Edmiston
