Dear Mr. Eisendrath:

I have just returned from Paris, but even while there, received word of your visit from Mrs. T. D. Parker who knew how disappointed I would be to have missed you here.

You cannot imagine the pleasure it gives me to know that the Arts Club of Chicago will be active again and according to what I hear, in beautifully designed new quarters. I shall look forward to an opportunity of visiting your new premises.

Though you did not find works by the artists of the period you had in mind for your opening manifestation, I nevertheless trust that it will be my pleasure to cooperate with you towards other of the outstanding exhibitions for which the Arts Club has become known.

Hoping it will not be long before my next visit to Chicago.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
