Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Co. Inc.,
3,East 51st. Street,
New York.

Dear Sirs,
Referring to our interview of yesterday with Monsieur Germain Seligmann, we shall be pleased to hold the exhibition of water-colours and drawings by 19th. century artists including Cezanne, Seurat, Van Gogh, Manet, Ingres, Matisse, Picasso, etc., during the month of [[underline]]June next,[[underline]] the provisional date of opening [[underline]] being on the 20th.[[underline]] of that month.

The terms are to be on the lines of our letter to your firm in Paris of February 7th.

We should be glad to have your confirmation of the arrangement and as explained to M.Seligmann, we should like to have photographs and details of the collection as early as possible so that we can endeavour to get articles written about it in good time in the art magazines.

We have definitely arranged with[[underline]] Mr.Arthur Rackham [[underline]] for you to hold an important exhibition of his water-colour drawings[[underline]] at the beginning of December [[underline]] of this year, and we shall be glad if you will consider this a definite fixture. You can rely upon having a good collection of this artist's work.

Yours faithfully,
ERNEST BROWN & PHILLIPS LTD.
