I am back at the apartment and glad of it. There are few decorative changes. I added a beautiful marble head of a Greek boy executed by Boris Lovet-Lorski, the celebrate Russian American sculptor; two Degas drawings on each side of Cézanne, and a magnificent Regence Cartel which is loaned to me by the grace of a dear friend, and which I placed on the long wall where the big bed is. It looks simply wonderful and each midnight during the witching hour, the little Lucifer jumps on my and whispers Swiss songs into my ear.

Otherwise everything is more-or-less the same. A little bit less sugar may affect people's sweetness and the curtailment in gasoline thus make them remember they still have a home to live in instead of an automobile, bu the spirits everywhere are good and hopeful.

I cannot write you anything about my business because there is absolutely none -- regrettable as it is to make such a statement -- but people definitely are nighter art nor wine minded.

Drop me a line soon and let me know how you are. Give my kindest regards to Theresa and Eva if you see them.

Every good wish to you.

As always,
