[[underlined]]Registered[/underlined]] July 13, 1972 Dear Mr. Bier; Your letter of July 9th, with the invoice covering two gouaches by BAUR and a watercolor by GERÔME, was received just as Mr. Seligman left for California. I was very glad to hear that these three items are already with Cheque and are expected to be shipped momentarily. Please find enclosed herein a Banker's Draft issued by the Bank of new York for £ 646.80 (six hundred, forty-six and 80/100) pounds sterling) in full settlement of the above invoice, and we would appreciate receiving your acknowledgement. Mr. Seligman wishes me to tell you that he is not further interested in the BONINGTON watercolor. Yours very sincerely, O. PORJES Manager encl: check No. 184880 on the Bank of New York Herbert N.
