In the photograph above, Mr. Alan Baer, Managing Director of The International Art Registry, indicates the section of detail on a $1,200,000 Van Gogh painting, part of the famous Norton Simon collection sold at Sotheby, Parke-Bernet galleries, that is being photographed as a preliminary step towards effecting a "fingerprint-type" identity and permanent registration.

The Registry is an affiliate of Guardian Industries, Inc., who, through their Dictograph Security Systems and Dictograph Sentinel 3 Surveillance Systems Divisions, provide a concept of total security for a wide range of residences, business establishments and institutions.
