Dear Mr. Seligman,

Your letter of the 15th containing the information about Maurin
arrived today. Please thank Mrs. Seligman for the research she
has done. It is very helpful to have the photostats and the
information in the review by M. Giral. I have been deciphering
Mr. Baderou's letter which is quite difficult, but having some
information about the artist has helped me understand his lengthy
and knowledgeable letter.

On Rose & Croix we have:
Exhibition at Piccadilly Gallery, London, 1968.
Article in Gazette des Beaux-arts, Sept, 1969.
Article in Connaissance des Art, Aug., 1969.
Also two articles on French Symbolism. The above information
from Fiche notes I still have to look up.

An interesting catalogue from a London gallery came today. "Old
Master Drawings Presented by Adolphe Stein and Lorna Lowe,"at
H. Terry-Engell Gallery, 8 Bury Street, St. James's, London,
SW1Y 6AB. Tel 01-839 2606. Exhibition July 3 to July 15.
141 Drawings of many important names among them: Lanfranco,
Guercino, Rosa, G.B. Tiepolo, Cochin Le Jeune, David, Fragonard,
Petel the Younger, Natoire, Vouet.

I hope everything is going well, and that London is not too
cold and damp.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Cooney
