Dear Miss Standen:
Your letter of June 27th addressed to this gallery and enclosing (1) a letter from Mme. Reynaud of the Louvre re: a tapestry of which (2) photostat was attached, has arrived in the absence of Mr. Germain Seligman who will not return to his desk until after Labor Day.

As there never was any connection between the firm of Arnold Seligmann, Rey & Co., and this gallery we are unable to furnish the desired information and are therefore returning both Mme. Reynaud's letter and the photostat to you.

Yours truly,
Theresa D. Parker (Mrs.)
On behalf of Mr. Germain Seligman.
