Carol is already trying to reach the photographer to have the transparencies made, so that they will be on hand should Mr. F. Lanier Graham make inquires. We are having a separate, transparencies made of each candlestick iaderder that they will not be drowded on a single film, which would make them seem less important.

Enclosed is a copy of the letter from Christie's forwarded by Ides et Calendes to which outfit it had originally been seatl As you will see we are sending acknowledgements to both parties Ides et Calendes writes as follows:

Christie's letter is the following:
2nd May 1973
I wonder if I can trouble you over two works of art by La Fresnaye which we have been asked to sell. They are a drawing and a bronze, photographs of which are enclosed. The drawing is a study for "Le Cuirassier", drawn in charcoal, signed and dated 1910-11j and measures 19 1/4 x 19 1/4 ins. Judging from the quality of the drawing and also from the old mount it looks absolutely genuine to us, although you make no reference to any studies for this picture in your books on the artist. The bronze is signed, numbered 576 and marked "Alexis Rudier, fondeur". Its
