Mr. Charles I. Stanton
Deputy Administrator
CAA
Washington, D. C.

Dear Charlie:

It was with deep regret that I learned of your decision to take leave of absence from the CAA and take over a job with the Brazilian government.

I am reminded of the fact that since 1929, I have almost continuously bringing airway communications and navigation problems to your doorstep without ever failing to receive constructive action or suggestions. In the comparatively short history of civil aviation, that is a long and satisfying record.

I feel sure that your new connection will work out very satisfactorily to the Brazilian government and I hope that it brings you much personal satisfaction.

With the compliments of the season, I am,

Very truly yours,

Paulgoldsborough
