Geo.H.Pepper Esq.
New York.

Dear sir:-

Your kind favor with enclosure as stated came duly to hand. Many thanks.

I will soon hope to have the looms finished for you.The warp or rather part of it has been delayed on account of sickness of the squaw making the same.I did not care to change to another for the reason that few can do it as well as this old lady. She is now at work again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.B.T.B.Hyde in Albuquerque.I extended the invitation to him for the Snake Lance trip and think that he will if possible come.. Do not fail to add your own invitation,as it will afford me pleasure to make the trip with you all.I shall curtail the number of my invitations this year with the hope that you and your party, Mr.Heye and Covert will be coming over and you will not be crowded when you come.

I am glad to hear of Mrs.Pepper improvement in health.I hope that she will recover her health entirely, and that you and her will enjoy the trip in this country this summer.
