Mr. Wm. L. Brown,
Hampton Institute,
Hampton, Va.

My dear Mr. Brown:-

Replying to your favor of the 18th inst. would say that my article on the Navajos should be finished within a day or so, and I hope to get it off to you, with the pictures, during the first week of February. The article will deal with Navajo medicine men, and in it I will endeavor to show that our modern doctors in going among the Indians, should feel their way carefully, and co-operate with the medicine men in treating their patients.

It is a phase of the work that was brought forcibly to my notice during my summer trip, and I think the subject will be of interest both to yourself, and to the readers of your worthy publications.

Sincerely yours,

(G.H.P.)
