Dear Sir,
We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favour of the 30th ult with cheque for $71.50 for which we thank you and we have dispatch today to Mr. Heyes per Dominion Express the goods ordered. As soon as we get the duty bill from our agent at Seattle will forward detailed account. We have included a bone handle of a dagger used in the death dance. We received it on Saturday and thought it so interesting that we took the liberty to include it in the shipment in preference of sending description and awaiting instructions. Should however Mr. Heyes not care for it please put it in a little cardboard box and return it to us at our expense.

You will notice at the top that it is carved to accomodate the grip of the fingers. In the cleft or fork at the other end is placed a bone weapon which is used in the death dance to kill the victim. The force of the thrust forces the bone weapon into the body of the victim and insures certain death. It is the first of its kind
