Miss Mary L. Ridonhaugh,
Boise,
Idaho.
Dear Madam:- Mr. George G. Heye of this city sent a letter, which he received from you, to the Museum, some time ago. Owing to my absence from the Museum I have been unable to answer it sooner, but I am interested in what you have for sale, and particularly your blankets.
I have mide a note of your collection for Museum reference and would now like to ask if you have, among your blankets, any of the old Navajo "Poncho" blankets; that is, the ones with a cut in the central part. Should you have one or more of those kindly let me know your lowest price for same. In case you do not care to part with any of this type can you not arrange to have them photographed for me as I am anxious to get exhaustive data of this particular weave for my scientific work.
Hoping to hear from you at your convenience, I am,
Respectfully yours,

Geo H Pepper
