Mr. H. L. Brown,
Hampton Institute,
Hampton, Va.

My dear Mr. Brown:-
It is rather late to write you concerning the reprints and the check for the article that appeared in the Southern Workman, but, even at the eleventh hour, I want to thank you for both.

Your letter was forwarded to me and reached me while I was in the West. When I returned I found the reprints in my room at the Museum. You handled the reprinting and cover in a very satisfactory way and I am indebted to you for giving it your personal attention.

Again thanking you for your many favors, I beg to remain,

Sincerely yours,
Geo. H. Pepper
