Mr. J. F. Arthur,
Trinidad, Colorado.

Dear Sir:-

I have before me a letter in which you mention the "prehistoric plow" found by you in the Cliff Dwellings of New Mexico.
Objects of this nature are always interesting to those who are making a study of the region in question, but from your short description of the specimen it is impossible to get an idea of its form or the character of the material. Would it not be possible to have it photographed? If so kindly send on a print with the lowest cash price for same. I can then give you a definite answer.
Thanking you in advance, I beg to remain,
Respectfully yours,
Geo H. Pepper
