was, that a Museum send me a dozen They were found in a sand bank where they had been cached, and washed out by a storm- There has been several found in R.I. in graves, with other arrows- If they were not used, why were they buried with the Indians body with his other implements- I send samples like what I am sending you to the Smithsonian Institute - but have not heard from them - when I hear from them I will send you the papers - but it must be strictly confidential some of the shell arrows are Triangular, Round Square, and pointed. I enclose a shell-knife or scraper- I wish you would look into this shell arrow business and advise me what you think of it -
