My dear Doctor Prudden:-

Your letter of the 11th. lies before me and I am glad to be able to state that I have made an arrangement whereby we cin [[can]] have the bowl, owned by Mr. Goulding, in the city.

There is a collector in the city who is greatly interested in Southwestern pottery; his name is Heye and he is cooperating with us in our scientific work. He has a great many rarities from our country and this specimen will help him out as he has no perforated pieces.

Thanking you [[strikethrough]] r [[/strikethrough]] for interesting yourself in this matter and hoping to be able to show you the collection of looms from Hubbell in the near future, I am,

Yours sincerely,

Geo. H. Pepper.
