My dear Miss Rea:-
In replying to your letter of yesterday allow me to say that the lectures included in this particular course are intended to help the teachers of public schools. The regular scholars of these institutions and the children of members are the only ones who are regularly entitled to be present. There is no rule without an exception, however, and I have arranged with Mr. Sherwood to extend to you the provide of attending the lecture and of bringing students with you.
I hope to find the time to run up to the college to-morrow and I trust that I may have the pleasure of seeing you at that time.
Sincerely yours,
Geo H. Pepper
