Miss Anita N. Earl,
118 East 130th. Street,
New York City, N.Y.

My dear Miss Earl:-

Have just received your letter and am replying at once to let you know that it will be impossible for me to be here on Wednesday afternoon. It is really not essential as Mr. Lentz, the gentleman who attends to the work during my absence, can go over the prints with you and I can send the negatives off on Thursday. I shall explain the situation to Mr. Lenz and place the completed material in his hands so that you can take it with you if you care to.

I regret that I cannot be here but my mission relates to the loom work which I am rushing through for the Teachers College. I sincerely hope that you will be able to straighten out the tangle without any great difficulty. The list that you made will be in Mr. Lestz's [[Mr. Lentz's]] possession.

Respectfully yours,

George H. Pepper

Transcription Notes:
Mr. Lestz's in the final sentence is likely a typo and to be Mr. Lentz's
