AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY NEW YORK OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT January 22, 1909. Dear Mr. Pepper: Mr. B. Talbot B. Hyde has made certain suggestions relative to the collections that for a number of years have been at the Museum under your custody, and in order to act intelligently, I have asked Director Bumpus and Dr. Wissler to confer with you. I should like to have the Director prepare, in particular, a full statement of the material that constitutes the following collections, together with the accession and catalogue numbers as these appear in the records of the Museum: 1894-5. One Wetherill collection of Cliff Dweller material. One collection of Hrdlicka somotological material, and A collection of folk pottery from the pueblos of the Southwest. 1896-7. One Wetherill collection of Cliff Dweller material. The McLeod & Graham Cliff Dweller collection. The Kuntz Cliff Dweller collection. The collections from the burial mounds of the Chaco CaƱon. The Pueblo Penanca Blanca material.
