State of Miss, with the information, that having observed in the "Corinth News" of July 7" an account of the killing of two Negroes in that vicinity and the apathy exhibited by the Civil Authorities concerning the affair, I wrote his Honor Mayor of Corinth on the subject. These letters were rec'd reply thereto.
