This is to certify that on this 23d day of July 1866. W.C. Barker was brought before the undersigned Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid. On a charge of killing two Freedmen on the 3d inst. After hearing all the evidence the Court was fully satisfied that the said Barker acted in self defence, therefore he was discharged
