We the undersigned discharged soldiers of the U.S. Vols have the honor to state that on the 31st of Dec 1865 we were mustered out of the service from the 55th U.S.C. Inf- at Baton Rouge, La, but discharged and paid off at Vicksburg. We did not receive any Bounty at the time of our discharge. Will you please inform us as soon as possible [[underline]] where [[/underline]] and by [[underline]] what means [[/underline]] we can get our Bounty and send answer to Eggs Point, Washington Co, Miss Care of Maj Est Bradford.
