ind. utters faint "Tsit" Notes, Trills, and (possibly) Whistles as it goes. (These might be provoked by me. But animal does not appear to be alarmed. Certainly no TR.)

There two inds. decide to cross semi-open space high up (instead of low down as they have crossed the same space on previous days). Leap from one tree to another. Approx. 60 ft above ground. Leaps are at least 4 ft long. With only gentle slope. [[image: two parallel downward pointing arrows]]

As far as I can tell, the third ind. does not follow the first two. I am beginning to think that this group is divided into two sub-groups. One ind. definitely seems to be "odd man out"

NOTE: The two inds. were moving thru trees in exact same direction (almost due W) as inds. seen moving on previous days at approximately the same time. Probably going to sleeping hole. Presumably use the same one every night. Does the third ind. sleep elsewhere?

5:30 pm. Nothing at feeding hole tree. Stopping observations as visibility is declining rapidly.

Going to work in patch of forest above F's farm this morning. Arrive first isolated wood 8:00 am. Main patch 8:30 am. Shy overcast, but rain not imminent. Rather windy. Rather cool. Birds active.
