Thurs 26th Packed for Honolulu- bananas, loongam, lines, lilikois. [[strikethrough]] and lannings [[/strikethrough]] Helped Mother move in her canvas wheelchair. Melvin drove us to airport in Ford. Aloha airline 130: Harvey appeared. Sat backward in front seat. Good flight. Sunny. Met in Hono by LU & Marian. To LU's. into a family involvement over Margaret & Harold re the dinner, which was at Ming Palace - 2 tables. (20). very good food. $50 for adult table & 20 for kids' with plainer food. [[strikethrough]] The [[/strikethrough]] Sat between Howard & Jimmy. Then all to Audrey's for slides & sherbet (stayed at L.U.'s) 
[[strikethrough]] Fri 2- [[/strikethrough]] (In afternoon at 4:30 I went to State Capitol for Interview (Star-Bull.) with Tomi Knaefler- in Governor Burns' ofc., where, behind a lg. desk was my "The Faultline-" [[strikethrough]] exlesp [[/strikethrough]] looking very fine & majestic indeed. A long interview about almost everything except art itself (which was OK with me) - & quite a few candid remarks from me about Hawai'i hei.) Met & posed with the Gov. More & more the stars are drawing me back.
