Mr. George H. Pepper,
Museum of the American Indian,
New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Pepper:
In regard to your letter or March 5, 1920 concerning your willingness to come to Reading to lecture, I can offer you the date of March 4, 1921 to speak on "The Old and the New Pueblo Land". You will understand that we are using lantern slides at this time only, although there is a possibility of our having a motion picture outfit installed by that time.

I wish you would let us know at your earliest convenience regarding your acceptance of this date as it is the only one that we have not filled and we should like to get the course completed.

We presume that your slides are colored. We also presume that you slides are the same as Mr. Skinner's. However, you can mention your terms in your letter to me. We cannot afford to pay more than $50.00 and expenses, which is the limit of this small institution

Appreciating the courtesy of an early reply, I am.
Very truly yours, Levi W. Mengel
Director.
