My dear Mr. Pepper.
I thank you very much for your letter and the interesting books about the Museum you were so kind to send me. I would like very much to visit it - I may be able to sometime. I went to Washington in my car six years ago. No doubt I went very near to your Museum -
I hope sometime when you are in N. England you can come and see my collection. I have wanted to keep it intact, of course collections given to your Museum are absorbed into the general collection and the articles placed with other of same class. And of course there are many duplicates. I have several thousand minerals, fossils land and fresh water shells - several hundred pressed flowers mounted on large cards I prepared during the ten years my husband was in the Indian Service. I have about 300 Indian baskets and and a large collection of Indian and Esquimo things. I have over 40 Navajo blankets. Every one of them dear to me
