November 16, 1923.

My dear Tozzer:-

By way of introduction would say that you will find enclosed a check for my current dues in the Folk Lore Society. Having reliev ed myself of this load I want to ask you about a print of a blanket that you sent to me some time ago.. The caption on the back runs as follows - "Blanket bought of Hyde Exploring Expidition, summer of 1901? Said to have been made by a hermaphrodite. Property of A.M.Tozzer."

[[note on margin]] ^[[You are right]] [[/note]]
From the appearance of this textile I would assume that it is Germantown. Kindly let me know whether my guess is right.

Do you know of anyone who has a Navaho poncho. Am endeavoring to round up all that I can locate. If you know of anyone kindly let me have the address so that I can write them for measurements and descriptions.

Am whipping my blanket book into shape and hope to see the finish by mid winter. Let me thank you in advance for any help that you may be able to give me.

Sincerely yours,
