THE UNIVERSITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ALBANY Nov. 24, 1923 Mr George H. Pepper, Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, New York. Dear friend Pepper: The bulletin has gone forth to greet you. It is a pleasure to me to know that you are willing to store my waste paper. Skinner and I have each lectured before the State Association on the Algonkian occupation which prompted the publication committee to print our attempts. It is mighty good news to know that you are up and at the desk once more. I have made inquiries whenever I have seen a fellow ethnologist, but your own statement,-like Taft's the other day,- reassures me that I will not yet have to consult the Ouijah to have a conversation with you. Give my best wishes to the staff of good fellows and in the future stay well. Sincerely yours, Arthur C. Parker ansd. Nov. 26/23.
