March 4, 1924.

My dear Lieutenant Emmons:-

I received your letter while at home with the flu. Have been confined to the house for nearly two weeks and yesterday was my first at the Museum for some time.

I want to thank you for your kindness in sending me the letter concerning the Hammond collection. Have written for a detailed catalogue and there may prove to be some material that we can use.

Thanking you for your continued interest in our work and hoping you are in good health, I am

Sincerely yours,

G H Pepper

P.S. Have just gone through my records and find that Harrington examined this collection for the Museum in November, 1922.
