Dear Sir:
I beg to acknowledge receipt of yours of the 7th instant relative to the early volumes of this Society's publications. The Society can furnish at $3. per volume a set of its "Proceedings" Vol. 16 (1876) to the current volume 62 (1923). As to its "Transactions", the old series is completely out of print; the new series, beginning with volume 1(1818) I believe we could furnish to date (Vol. 22 current) at $5. per volume.
The particular volume of "Transactions" in which you are interested, Vol. 4, which contains Heckewelder's Lenni Lenape names, can be furnished at $5.
Trusting that this gives you the information you desire, I am
  Yours very truly,
    (Miss) R.M, Kirkpatrick
        Assistant Secretary.
