As there is nothing doing out side to day will try and tell you of the past week.  I have had two nights, Thursday and Friday at the Musums [[Museums]], busy ones you my [[may]] believe a Visitation of Blue Lodge and a bunch of 25 taking the degree in the Chapter. was in Boston Tuesday afternoon  took in the toaster and am sure that instead of fixing it they sent a new one out  we got it Friday  I told them at the repair shop where they sent me with it I thought the best they could do was to hand me a perfict [[perfect]] one, then and there but it came later  I received a letter from [[Nattie?]] Bryden  She is in W. now, for the Wntir [[Winter]].  Karl Standest is soon to be there also, he has got the job of Sic [[Sec]] to Frothinghams a good place for him  he may be down in Dec for a little but later for good for Frothingham term in Wash.  Ruth Capen is down also  have you met her?  Monday morning I met Mr Burns  he said [[Leigh?]] had just been put on danger list and yesterday they received word he had passed away  Mengetictes [[Meningitis]] set in  he said as result of the Flue [[Flu]] he had last season, Fred Snell wife is in the Goddard Hospital and is not doing well I hear. Gall Stones has had an operation dont suppose.  Young Fred has heard any thing about it as yet.
