Doris    Saturday

Another week has gone by and it has been a busy one   
Tuesday I put in the Beans in hopes we could have some by the time you are 
here, also summer squash and a few potatoes and got after the window and 
[[?]] here them all in shop and some of them put in, the lawn has taken a part of my time.  was down to the Lodge Thursday evening came home early got to bed a little for 10   a slower Friday so I could not finish my planting.  You remember Fannie Buck the one who sings I hear she makes her home in Washington and sings at the Church Wilson attend when able.  have you run across Helen Dunbar yet.  The shops are running on that time [[?]] days a week like a letter as if it was going to dull time for them.  cant shop and many order are being cancelled hoping for lower prices, but they are still talking strike all the time.  I forgot to say it has rained all day today and looks like a No Eastern for tomorrow but will tell you more about when I finish this letter sometime tomorrow
