Ploughton Dec 18th 1921

Dear Doris-
I must stop work long enough to write my weekly letter, I am trying to get in fifteen jackets to send by Wednesday, for then I send her what yarn I have on hand for stock taking. I am making one today. Pa has gone off down to the lodge room for a dinner, he had notice of it last night. Lena has got her wreathes done one for the cemetery a very large one made from princess pine, with a little holly, also laurel,  & two smaller ones for the front windows, the holly came Friday noon in good condition, thanks for the same. we got our box started Wednesday noon. There wasn't much in it though for its hard for me to go to Brockton these days my feet get achy traveling on them too much. coming home Lotty Crane was on the car, she said something
