4.

we were pretty tired that night when we finally got to bed, and Sid was cross as a bear all the next day. I wasn't. But I think we are rested to-day. It was cold all day yesterday and last night, but I notice the wind is in the South this morning, and the sky rather clouded.

I have cleaned up and got breakfast out of the way. Sid is corecting proof, and the church bells are ringing.

Last night, the B. family being away in toto we practiced howling in the house, the first time for a long while. And we were astonished at ourselves. Sid cleared out of the room while I opened my mouth. Our outdoor practice has given us a fairly tremendous resonance that in a room is deafening.

I am going to send on to you some portions of yesterday's newspapers for you to read.

U think this is quite letter enough for one day.

I think so too.

Doris.
