Dear Doris
The weather to day is decidedly cold 20ยบ one of our coldest mornings in fact. Lena arrived the night before Thanksgiving just as I was locking up for the night. We had a ten lb turkey and a pudding and three kinds of pie and I made a delitious [[delicious]] fruit cake which I frosted, celery and cranberry sauce, and grape cordial, which went well with the dinner
Lena went the with her Uncle Ed and Wilson, up there to Easton, and spent the evening with her folks, and had a good time, and came home late in the evening with them, on their way back to Dorchester. She goes back to Stoneham to night to begin teaching again.
