Alice had a post card from New Hampshire wanting here to come there to keep house, a place where she had been once before we took it, dont know whether she went, as we havent heard from her since. 

Amy sent her little girl home with Aunt Esther she may be going to have another one as I dont see any other season for it this time of the year too.

I went down to Blakes with the letter Thursday. He had the doctor she said, but he told him there was nothing about him only bladder trouble and cataracts not developed enough for an opperation.

They are both worried and terribly dependent on the doctor, more confidence than common sense I take it.  but then I was never brought up on such faith and thank God for that also.  well this will do I think      Ma
