Dear Doris,
Our storm of yesterday has passed by and to day is windy and cold. I hope the sun comes out to warm us up but in spite of our unnatural cold spring things seem to come ahead in the garden. our row of cabbages are coming up fine, the tomatoes are also standing up and growing fast. beans are growing well also the summer squashes are doing as well as liquid stuff will make them. Those things we found in the box in our table drawer, after soaking them in water, we planted them and they are coming up. we find one new one coming every day. they looked like sweet peas, but the leaf is round. I heard from Mame this week and a box of seeds came with her letter, which I planted right away. Ethel sent them to her from the South, but she could'nt seem to have any luck with them, they were sweet scented morning glories. Chinese
