Respectfully Sir I should have written you immediately on my return home but for this reason, My daughter had written for a col girl and was afraid it was not directly aright so she requested me not to write you until she got the girl on the [?] an answer yesterday. She received the girl and is pleased with her. If you will write for a boy for me I shall be very much obliged to you If you can
get one 9 or 10 years of age for me I should like it so much if you can not I will take one at eight years old Please write for one that is sprightly
and good looking, I understand that I am to give him an education be kind to him, and give him some thing to begin the world with when he is of age I want to learn him how to do farm work you told me his transportation would cost me nothing and if you please have him left at Boltons Depot to the care of Wilson Cox Freedman Mr Walton clerk at the Depot
will keep him in his office until the cars park and then he will take him up to Wilson's house 5 or 6 yards over
