Reports that he as counsel for Berj. Hill, a freedman charged with murder, has procured a change of venue to Warren Co., and then Sam Hughs another freedman has been sentenced to the penitentiary for life upon the statement of the prosecution, who is represented as a bad character, charging the said Hughs with rape
