NCO Wives to Hold Tea
Newcomers Will Be Welcomed Tomorrow

The Non-Commissioned Officers' Wives Club of Carlisle Barracks will hold a Welcoming Tea tomorrow at the NCA Open Mess starting at 1:30 p.m.

The purpose of the tea is to welcome all enlisted wives who to Carlisle Barracks or those who are residing in the area while their husbands are overseas.

Wives of retired personnel and widows are also invited to attend the gathering.
Mrs. David Schwein, club president, is asking all members of the NCO Wives Club to attend the tea and welcome the Newcomers. Further information on the tea can be obtained by calling 245-3575 or 243-4097.

International Buffet For Club Unit Tonight

The final meeting of the season of the Mechanicsburg Woman's Club will feature an International Buffet and will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior High School cafeteria. Mrs. John W. Anderson and Mrs. Emil W. Rafael are co-chairmen.

Mrs. Jack F. Aschinger will preside at the Induction Ceremony of eleven new members. They are Mrs. Malcom Hopkins, Mrs. William Nailor, Mrs. Jacob Stauffer, Mrs. Cleo Ha?nish, Mrs. George Walthouse, Mrs. Harry Mohler, Mrs. Jacob Shopp, Mrs. Tobert D. Orris, Mrs. Hazel Higgins, Miss Viola Barnhardt, and Mrs. Gerald 
Godwin.

Mrs. Mildred Coller, the new corresponding secretary will be installed by Miss Eva Arebegast.

"Service For Others"
Club Dinner Tomorrow

The annual covered dish dinner of the Service For Others Club, will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the Hogestown Church.

Miss Virginia Bloise, the Mechanicsburg Area High School exchange student from Costa Rica, will be the guest speaker. Miss Bloise is living with the R. Elwood Hildt Family during her stay.

Officers for the coming year will be installed. They are Mrs. David Pipher, president, Mrs. Willis O'Neil, first vice-president; Mrs. George Higgenbotham, second vice president; Mrs. Clyde Messinger, treasurer; Mrs. Harold Rudy, secretary; Miss Dorothy Waggoner, assistant secretary.

The club recently held their annual party for a ward at the Harrisburg State Hospital. All guests at the affair received prizes and favors, and refreshments were served.

Hostesses for the evening will be Mrs. Ralph Weigle, Mrs. Higginbotham, Mrs. Ronald Pipher and Mrs. Edward Bent?zel.

WINDOWS BROKEN
Two boys, ten to twelve years of age, are believed to have broker 14 glass window panes at the Carlise Ribbon Co. 320 West Louther Street last night about 6:30 p .m. Charles Wilson, 169 East Penn St., an employee, saw the boys doing the damage and attempted to catch them, but they eluded him.
