Cliff Wilson started things for the Lakers by rapping a three-run homer in the first inning. They added six more in the fourth on two hits, five walks, a hit batter and a throwing error.

Montclair Bows in Track, 90-54
TRENTON - Paul Drew had a triple win for Montclair State yesterday, but his efforts were not enough as the Indians fell to Trenton State, 90-54. Drew scored wins in both hurdles and the century. Other victors for Montclair were Jim Thomas in the high jump and Rich D'Andrea in the discus.

BOONTON - Fair Lawn scored its 11th with in 12 lacrosse matches yesterday as it defeated Boonton, 3-1. Boonton is 6-2.
Dave Haloch had a goal and an assist for the Cutters, while Dave Bonjuklian and Gray iss each had a goal and Hoy Chin picked up two assists. Al Rea had the lone goal for Boonton.

HACKENSACK - George Kennedy pitched a 17-strikeout, one-hitter yesterday as Bergen Tech remained undefeated in the New Jersey Vocational and Technological League by shutting out Irvington Tech, 5-0. It was the fifth straight league victory for the Knights who will play Don Bosco Tech for the title Thursday.
Joe Breslin rapped a two-run double and scored on an error in the sixth inning to clinch the victory for Kennedy. Gary Greenwald had scored in the fourth when he singled, stole second, took third on a passed ball, and stole home. Freddy Werner singled across Len Jones for the second run. 
Charley Pennington reached Kennedy for the only Irvington hit when his soft liner went off Bergen first baseman Dave Tookmanian's glove. Pennington might have been retired on the second-inning play but Kennedy didn't cover first.
