Dear Doris

Almost an April day its shifting from rain to sun but not much of either,

I have been puttering around ever since I got up & now it is half past ten & my dishes I have just done. I will try to write this to you before getting my dinner underway.

Tina came Friday & I took her up stairs & showed her the plants & also my rugs & bedquilts & everything I had made lately. She thought it looked as though I had been busy.

Myrtie came the day before. she fell while she was over to Brockton & cracked the bone in her forearm, which has layed her up & also been painful, she said she had gained ten pounds
